{one} Christmas is now ONE WEEK away. Man, has this year flown by! I reached a few of my goals in the past week - got the holiday cards sent out, did a little shopping and wrapped the few presents I have so far. Now it's really down to the wire! This weekend I need to finish my shopping AND my wrapping! Other than that, I think the G household is ready for the holidays. :)
{two} Speaking of Christmas...tomorrow the women of my family will be carrying out one of my favorite holiday traditions - decorating cookies! (Somehow we managed to forget about this tradition last year... who does that?) I will be sure to bring the camera along... it's always a fun time where my cousins and I get to act like kids again! (We are 25, 20 & 17 ;)
{three} Remember last week when I mentioned that the Chiefs game had a chance of getting blacked out to local viewers? Well, we got lucky last week, and it didn't happen. This week, however, is a different story. So now, for the first time in 19 years, KC will not be able to watch their Chiefs lose, I mean play, on Sunday. BOO! Guess we'll have to settle for listening to it on the radio...
{four} I only have 2 days left of work in 2009!! (Not counting today of course...I mean it's noon, the day is pretty much over, right?! ;) Starting Wednesday of next week I am off for a week and a half. SAAWWEEEEEETT! I have a mile long list of things to do during my time off, but at the top of the list is RELAX. :) I definitely plan to take and post a ton of photos during that time as well. Between cookie decorating, Christmas celebrations, and *hopefully* a day of random photo shooting with Ash, I should have tons of post for you in the next couple weeks! (aren't you just jumping for joy?!)
{five} I recently discovered one of the coolest. blogs. ever. (Next to mine of course :) Kansas City Penny Pinchin Mama (now that's a mouth full!) She posts several times a day with different deals, coupons, etc. It's fantastic! I love me a good bargain, but haven't always been much of a coupon connoisseur... this makes it easy though! Every day there are at least 5 or 6 printable coupons, coupon codes to use online, or other tips to get a great deal, and you don't have to do any work! Gotta love it. You should DEFINITELY check out this site, you won't regret it. :)

I will go ahead and say now, chances are the 5 on Friday series will take a break next week (you know, being Christmas and all...).
