Babies!

Last weekend the hubs and I attended a "baby shower" of sorts(I'll explain later) for one of our good friends. I'm so glad I decided to stick my camera in my purse, because there were so many cute little ones running around!

This wasn't your traditional baby shower...first of all it was for a guy. Secondly, the baby was already born. The guy I speak of is Jared, one of the hubby's good buddies from High School, and back in February he was blessed with a CUTE-E-PIE of a baby. Unfortunately, he has been through quite a lot in these 6 months, to get custody of this little darling, and has finally made progress - which was our reason for celebrating. Not to mention he's a 20-something guy, who needs just about anything and everything baby related.

Now on to the fun...

First up is little Kendall. She is almost 2 years old, and full of energy. I could barely catch her in a picture.


How cute are her little pig tails?!




She was quite the little explorer...she decided that any toy she found, must definitely be hers, and was gathering them left and right.



And next up is little Carson. He is the same age as our baby-of-honor, but the size difference between the 2 is a bit crazy. He is just the cutest chubby little guy ever.



He saw Kendall digging through the toys in his stroller, and was very interested.




This one's going to be quite the ladies man one of these days...

And now on to our baby-of-honor, little miss Dawsyn.





Snuggle time with Daddy...

Baby feet and baby toes...I can never get enough of their cuteness!!




This photo cracks me up...she was crawling around on her blanket, a happy little camper, and as you can see once she ventured to the grass she was NOT happy about it!


And this, I think, is my favorite shot of the day...

What a happy little girl!!


As you may have noticed...I actually edited these photos, which I haven't done in the past. I am not quite professional enough (or financially endowed enough) to have Photoshop just yet, but I do have a cheap wannabe imitation, that I finally broke down and read the manual for so I know what I'm doing. :) It doesn't do much, but I was able to adjust the lighting and color, and even tint a few of them. I'm pleased with it for now, I like how these came out. One of these days I'll splurge and get the real thing, but for now this will have to do...
