Random shots from the past 2 weeks...

You thought I fell off the face of the earth, didn't you! Sorry about that... for one I really haven't taken THAT many photos in the past couple weeks; and on top of that I sort of have this other thing I'm working on, you know, my WEDDING (to see how that's going, check out my wedding blog). So that has been taking up most of my time. Anyway, I finally got around to uploading some pictures last night (btw, I filled up my memory card for the first time since I got my camera! That didn't take long - only 4 months. It maxed out at somewhere around 1200 photos...yikes! But they've all been uploaded, the card cleared, ready for the next 1200!!) On to the pictures...


These first few are from Easter at Matt's parents house. (oh and I'll just go ahead with the disclaimer now...there are more pictures of dogs then people. Not sure why that always happens... ;) Jordan on the hunt for some eggs. Don't you love her dress?! She's just adorable.

This one was taken at the dog park. Amazing there's a person in it!! :) That's Matt.

And these last ones are from last weekend at Mama T's house (Mama T is my grandma). I decided to have a mini-photo shoot with my mom's little princess, Sandy. Isn't she the cutest little fluff ball?!

That last one's my favorite. She's a silky terrier, and normally has long hair, but in the summer they chop it all off, and she looks so CUTE!!

Happy Easter!

I know Easter isn't technically until Sunday, but I was preparing for tomorrow's celebration with Matt's family this afternoon, so I got in the spirit early. :) Also, today's prompt on HSMSHS was Easter, so here's my take on it! I did some baking as well to get me into the Easter spirit... they were just so pretty I had to bust out the camera!

It's SPRING!! (today...)

Look! The sun! It really does exist!!!!

Since the sun FINALLY decided to grace us with it's presence (and warmth) today, I busted out the camera. Nothing exciting to shoot, just the backyard. But at least there was SUN and LIGHT and GRASS in the backyard today! Only 10 days ago it looked like this... Yeah. Welcome to Kansas. I think someone forgot to tell Mother Nature that it's freaking APRIL. For today she's gotten the memo...but I wouldn't break the swimsuits and sunscreen out just yet...

On with the randomness that is my backyard...

Aaaaand that's all I got. I know, you were expecting more, weren't you. Sorry, the backyard just isn't that exciting. I could have taken pictures of the giant mud pits, pile of trash from the remodel, or various rocks that Daisy has so kindly placed ALL OVER the yard, but those just weren't sparking my creative interests. So this will just have to do.
